Tunbridge Wells hearts were broken after Fitness Exchange convincingly beat Sydenham 20-2,5-0, to go above them and become division 5 champions.
Old Elthamians' 14-9,3-2 win at Wildernesse, was their first success in nine games.
Blackheath ended the season with a 15-10,3-2 victory over Cannons, but it was not enough to prevent them from finishing bottom.
