Fitness First lost 17-4,4-1 at Cascades, but somehow moved off bottom spot.
Beckenham defeated Acacia Hall 17-4,4-1, to maintain their promotion ambitions.
Fredericks' 19-7,4-1 victory over Knole Park left the visitors too near to the drop zone for comfort.
