Div.1-TUBBIER TEL GETS LANGLEY HELL
12 Jan 2007

PARK LANGLEY II 16 BROMLEY L.T.C. I 6 (3-2) Newly promoted Park Langley II and Bromley L.T.C. were the bookies' pre-season favourites for a swift return to division 2. But whilst Andy Blackman's Langley boys have more than held their own, Tubby Tel (Terry Easton) sees his Bromley L.T.C. side seemingly already down with the Christmas decorations. CANNONS I 4 BIGGIN HILL I 20 (0-5) Another convincing victory for the recently ball and chained Mark Lennox and his Biggin Hill "boys" saw them extend their lead at the top and Cannons slip to fourth. CASCADES I 9 BEXLEY I 15 (2-3) Bexley stay second, but are now 30 points behind the leaders after managing only a narrow win at struggling Cascades who must be fearing the dreaded drop. BROMLEY C.C. I 6 DULWICH I 20 (0-5) All the time El Capitano (Ian Mc'Meckan) can only put out 4 players for his Bromley C.C. side's matches, the possibility of relegation is likely to become a probability. After finishing second to bottom last Summer, Dulwich have the luxury of finding themselves sitting comfortably in third. TUNBRIDGE WELLS S.R.C. I 19 PARK LANGLEY I 8 (4-1) Clive London's Park Langley would surely have hoped to have been higher, after 10 games played, than sixth with a meagre 1 point advantage over their second team. Tunbridge Wells S.R.C., might be looking for a surge up the table.
