Div.5-BROMLEY CRICKET NICK IT
16 Feb 2007

DULWICH III 10 BROMLEY C.C. III 15 (2-3) Bromley C.C's. victory was achieved largely due to the selection of their first string James Mc'Meckan, nominated as the Club's number 3!, who is probably far too strong to be playing in division 5. But they could be forgiven as Dulwich have set very high standards this winter and his inclusion will be seen as a sign of respect. DAVID LLOYD 6 COBDOWN 17 (1-4) Cobdown's win saw them move to within just 10 points of the league leaders. BLACKHEATH II 15 PARK LANGLEY IV 6 (3-2) The result of this match would have been different had it not been for an oversight from Park Langley. OLD ELTHAMIANS II 2 SYDENHAM 20 (0-5) A straightforward victory for Sydenham. The bottom side were not helped by a premature disasterous comeback from your author. WILDERNESSE II 6 CANNONS III 17 (1-4) Wildernesse would have suffered an even more conclusive defeat had Cannons' number 5 been nominated.
