DIVISION 5 TEAM PREVIEWS
14 May 2007

BLACKHEATH II Blackheath II are making a welcome appearance in the summer but, as the club now have the two teams, I don't think a promotion push is likely. P.C. Verdict - 6th. SYDENHAM Despite appearing to be division 5 "lodgers", Sydenham will never make it easy for any of their opponents. P.C. Verdict - 5th. DAVID LLOYD Being one of the more unpredictable teams in the whole league, it's hard to assess how David Lloyd will fair. Unless they get off to a good start, they'll probably have to settle for a mid-table finish at best. P.C. Verdict - 7th. CANNONS II A top two placing is Cannons' aim. They are certain to be in the hunt. P.C. Verdict - 4th. BROMLEY C.C. III After only narrowly winning this division last summer, Bromley C.C. III declined to accept promotion. They are certain to be looking to do well again this time around. P.C. Verdict - 2nd. COBDOWN Somehow Cobdown missed out on promotion last summer. I take them to set the record straight come August. P.C. Verdict - 1st. BROMLEY PAVILION This Bromley Pavilion side contains none of their recent years' players. Hopefully they'll enjoy their debut season, but I know nothing other than to suggest it will be a settling-in period. P.C. Verdict - 8th. OLD ELTHAMIANS If Old Elthamians can maintain the end of season form shown in the winter, they must be contenders for a top two finish. P.C. Verdict - 3rd.
