Ever dreamed of playing at Wembley?
21 Feb 2006

We’d like to hear your thoughts on a suggestion put forward for the league cup competitions finals night. As you know, there are four finals to be played, two main, and two plate. That’s 40 players and 20 matches in all, so the dream of playing them all at the same venue would seem impossible – until now. There is the possibility of playing all four finals at the Wembley stadium equivalent for squash – Lambs. If you haven’t heard of Lambs, you perhaps should have, once quoted by Jahangir Khan as "the best club he had ever played at". For years, Lambs has hosted some of the biggest and best squash tournaments in the world, not least the prestigious British open. It has 9 courts in all and is situated in Moorgate (London). If you haven’t experienced this sort of squash club then maybe it’s time to. Obviously a venue like this isn’t free so we’re going to need a sponsor – it doesn’t by any means cost the earth and we’re pretty sure we can make it worth while with some website advertising thrown in for good measure. If you like the idea or have any suggestions, we’d be really pleased to hear from you. You can either call Mark Lennox on 07960 937 695 or email to mlennox@piranha-group.com Thanks for looking.
