Div.5-COBDOWN AND OUT
26 Jul 2007

OLD ELTHAMIANS 20 Cobdown 3 (5-0) The bookies are now rubbing their hands after seeing that the pre-season favourites cannot now win the division. Old Elthamians could do no more than gain maximum points, which they duly did. David Lloyd 5 BROMLEY C.C. III 20 (0-5) Bromley C.C. remain in the driving seat to take the title. David Lloyd have reverted to their early season form. Bromley Pavilion 3 BLACKHEATH II 20 (0-5) Nobody can deny the efforts of Bromley Pavilion this summer, but Blackheath could no way afford to show any mercy against the bottom side as they, themselves, strive to clinch a promotion place. Cannons II 7 SYDENHAM 17 (1-4) Sydenham's recent run of results have probably have come too late to see them finish in the top two, but watch out for them in the winter if they get a good start. Cannons will also be turning their attentions to an improvement come the "colder" months. 1/ BROMLEY C.C.
