Div.5-BLACK RACK UP ENOUGH POINTS
17 Aug 2007

Cannons II 7 BLACKHEATH II 14 (2-3) Blackheath's narrow victory was enough to get them promoted. However, Cannons were close to upsetting the party. DAVID LLOYD 17 Old Elthamians 5 (4-1) No disrespect to David LLoyd, who deservedly completed the double over their opponents, but if Old Elthamians were going to get promoted, these games needed to have been won. BROMLEY C.C. III 15 Bromley Pavilion 6 (3-2) Bromley Pavilion's season ended with them chalking up their best match score total. It's immaterial that their championship winning opponents only had 4 players for this fixture. SYDENHAM 17 Cobdown 8 (3-2) If Cobdown's stronger players had been available all summer, a much higher finish would have been a certainty. Being a man short for this game didn't help. Sydenham rely on their loyal small squad to see that they always maintain the true spirit of the Priory League. Finishing third might see them being a good bet for the coming winter. Final Table :- 1/ BROMLEY C.C. III - 14-238 2/ BLACKHEATH II - 14-197 ---------------------------- 3/ SYDENHAM - 14-190 4/ OLD ELTHAMIANS - 14-185 5/ COBDOWN - 14-156 6/ CANNONS II - 14-154 7/ DAVID LLOYD - 14-153 8/ BROMLEY PAVILION - 14-33
