WEMBLEY TO ARRIVE ON TIME AFTER ALL??
28 Feb 2006

First things first, thanks for the enormous support shown by the majority of clubs in response to the Lambs Cup Finals evening. Lots of you agreed it was too good an opportunity to miss out on and the prestige of Lambs, and would be well worth a jaunt into London for the privilege. It’s likely the date is going to be Tuesday 11th April 2006. Within the responses, several clubs suggested the Winter League divisional awards for all five divisions could be presented on the same night. That way, people can enjoy and support some great squash, and maybe even collect their award for their season’s hard work. With the prospect of this, we’re pretty sure it would up the stakes for the final matches of the season! Another very good suggestion to help fund the event was to create a programme for the evening. It would hopefully include information on all the teams competing on the night, how they got to the finals, and maybe even individual player profiles with cup performance stats! This could be bought for a nominal amount and depending on price, could also include a buffet style meal for all that contribute? At this stage, these are only suggestions and require feedback from captains, players, and supporters. If the responses are good then it’ll be booked and we all go to Lambs for what would be the largest Priory Squash gathering in the League’s history. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
