Div.1-DULWICH DETHRONE KINGS OF THE HILL
21 Mar 2008

DULWICH 17 Biggin Hill I 8 (3-2) Dulwich ended Biggin Hill's long reign of supremacy which dated back to the first of their five consecutive titles in the summer of 2005. A large crowd gathered to witness the home team win a closely fought contest 3-2 to become champions. Dulwich captain Duncan Marlow was modest in victory, but maybe a bit exhausted to comment too much having only just come through his own tie which eventually decided the overall result. Opposition skipper Mark Lennox took Biggin Hill's defeat in a very good sporting manner on a night with so much at stake. Biggin Hill's points tally of 315 points is the highest ever for a team not to win the League. Beckenham 5 CASCADES I 17 (1-4) Hopefully Beckenham can pick up again for the summer when they'll be playing in division two. Cascades enjoyed their highest finish (3rd) in more than 15 years. PARKLANGLEY I 14 Bexley I (3-2) Parklangley I secured safety by beating out of form Bexley. AMIDA I 19 Parklangley II 4 (4-1) Parklangley II's fight against relegation was finally lost after losing to a very strong Amida line-up. TUNBRIDGE WELLS S.R.C. I 16 Bromley C.C. I 8 (3-2) Both teams gained enough points to avoid the drop.
