| Report: | Langleys most pleasing to the eye team (not the dress code) welcomed Cobdown to the towers.
First up Faggy v Kevin , 9/2 9/0 this is going to be over quick Faggy was on fire. Third game Kevin started to dig in an played some very tight shots making Faggy get angry with himself. 2-1 from here on Faggy lost all control of the game and Kevin pushed on to take a well earned victory .Less fags me thinks !
Meanwhile on court 1 Porky Plumber v Chris, Started close with games 1-1 but Chris is a very fit guy and had the edge on porky causing him to make unforced errors and take it 3-1 .
Flexiboy v Carl , Flexiboy was moving well after his recent injuries and could have sneaked the fourth but not to be Carl is a good player and won't loose many at 3.
Cheap v Laz , These two have played before so the crowd was expecting a thriller ! Not to be Simon a little lighter the last few weeks was moving well and had Laz all over the place .A little better in the third for Laz but could not convert 3-0 to cheap.
So Cobdown winning 3-1 in matches the last game was a dead rubber and really wouldn't take long as Kevin had text earlier and said had a few toooo many beers and wine and running late.
Fat Dad v Jack , In the warm up fat dad could not even see the ball let alone hit it . First game Jack was hitting the ball well and from 4-4 strolled through to 9 and the game.
From this point the Fat dad show started - some players have fitness some players have shots ,but few players have raw talent like our Kev and he has it in abundance . Taking the next two game in a stroll the Langley crowd could not believe what they were seeing ,in fact neither could Daddy Peel !
A good talking to Jack saying work him ,run him,you can't loose this game to a fat bloke like Kev , Jack got his game on track to take the fourth game .
Fat dad at this time was blowing out of his Arse and looked to be all in . We'll never bet against him because he came out firing on all his Nissan micra cylinders and took the fifth against all odds . What a game well played Jack ,don't take it bad this Fat Dad is a legend.
Ham Egg and chips soon demolished 11 PM and Goodnite .
