Report: | If Football is a gentleman’s game played by hooligans and Rugby is a hooligan’s game played by gentleman then Squash is an adult’s game played by absolutely mewling toddlers who should be embarrassed with their behaviour. At least if you were playing in the third string of the latest clash between PL and KP.
With both teams missing key men towards the top due to pretty serious / long term injuries the match looked likely to be close until James at KP1 pulled out shortly before the start - I assume completely nonplussed about having to waste another Tuesday in a small box making Brett run around.
The KP lads battled well but the impact of moving up a place showed throughout, with only Jon, playing nicely at 2, registering a win against Stuart; who did well in the third but seemed to stutter in the first two games.
Chris was unfortunate not to get a game at number 1 although Brett managed the match well while towards the bottom the results were a little more one-sided. The sight of JC striding onto court not quite psyching Adam out enough to cause an upset.
Top quality conversation in the bar as always with everyone in good cheer. Chris in particular could not contain his delight at discovering that alcoholic ginger beer exists and ditto Mike with the Peroni pump ;) Good luck for the rest of the season |
