| Report: | Bromley welcomed Knole Park to the lane on Tuesday evening. We felt we had a strong team and was looking forward to the match.
First on court was Vin the Tin v Will a good match with vin living up to his nickname running Will all over the court and when it came to winning the rally you've guessed it would hit the tin Will taking the first 5-9 after a few words from yours truly Vin settled down and played the same squash but not making the same mistakes Vin taking the next 3 9-3 9-5 10-8 hitting great lengths then putting the ball away well played Will great effort. I do have to point out Vin you need to learn your left and right when serving and if you win a point you serve on the opposite side lol
On court 3 saw the return of the legend that is John Lane unfortunately John didn't live up to his legend tag going down 1-9 4-9 6-9 against a good player in Theo. John has vowed to get some more games in before we next call upon him.
Next up was Keels v Niall keels feeling fresh from a break in Dubai and a break from an injury.Kells started well but lost the first 6-9 she came back in the second and won that 9-5 but then Niall dominated the last 2 with Keels not feeling to great no doubt wishing she had stayed in Dubai losing the last 2 0-9 and 1-9
Next on Showboat Sweeney not so much showboating these days played good squash in the first to win 9-5 but then Alex figured out my game and smashed me in the next 1-9 in the next it was a much tighter affair having had some advice from Vin Alex still taking it though 9-6 I came it in the fourth and started terribly going down 1-8 but got my act together and came back to 5-8 but was running out of steam and a much fitter Alex took the game (-5 and the match 3-1
Finally Pip v Chris this was a great game to watch long rallies good squash played by both but Chris's club final at the weekend taking its toll with Pip coming through 9-7 9-6 9-1 great effort though Chris
