Report: | Much of the early evening conversation centred around proper and safe use of elevators, especially while under the influence on a Friday night. The opposition turned up weakened because one of their younger and less experienced members hadn't gone through adequate elevator training and, as a consequence, had suffered an injury to his ear, which, inexplicably, prevented him from playing. The home team, happy about this unfortunate turn of events, won decisively, although there were tight tussles all the way down the order. Some good squash was played too.
During the pizza and beer that followed, the exact point in time when Kent Priory turned to PAR scoring was debated. There were persuasive arguments on both sides, but no one remembered anything useful, really. Everyone thought PAR was great, to 11 and to 15 got equal support. Hi-Ho, surprisingly, earned one vote.
'Twas a pleasant evening and very nice to see the familiar faces of the Bexley Park Posse at Blackheath.
