| Report: | Beckenham brought along their steadily improving young team exemplified by Freddie who overcame two match balls in his 5-game match to beat Ash on his debut Kent League match for Bromley. Reece confidently outplayed Oli and Taidgh looked as if he might do the same to Sammy before the latter sharpened up his accuracy and power to take control. Taidgh will soon be a force to reckon with. Finally, Clive sounded out Mark from the start saving a game ball in the first game. After close tussles down the walls Clive's increasingly accurate lobs eluded Mark who was only occasionally allowed his killer cross-court drives. A tight win on count-back for Bromley. |
