| Report: | An evening of pain and pleasure; no, not the opening line from a 50 shades of grey book, but an evening of squash.
Firstly the pain, we should have know it was going to come as Sundridge all turned up looking far too young, eager, fit and to rub it in, talented. To be fair, Elliot did wear a knee brace just to make us feel a little better and we thought we had a chance as we had managed to field our 'athlete' against him, but the knee brace was just a decoy and he happily ran around the court returning the ball from any corner Jamie managed to find.
The pleasure, the squash spoke for itself and it was a pleasure to host Sundridge and Captain Garth provided a slap up fish/pie/chips/curry sauce for the evening dinner as a birthday treat. Thank you Sundridge and thank you Garth for spending your birthday with us. |
