Report: | A comfortable win for Bromley against a severely depleted David Lloyd whose captain and flag bearer was absent visiting the fleshpots of Vienna. Their cause was further hampered by their No.3 John aggravating an old injury and retiring after the third game in his match with Steve.
Straightforward wins pretty much across the board for Bromley with Graham exorcising a few old demons in his win over Gurkhan in what was probably the best match of the evening.
A good win for Al Leffen also who showed great commitment to the cause by travelling back from Swindon just to play.
It was good to see Alistair winning again in a match where he was given more time and space than he has been accustomed to of late and was able to demonstrate the sort of controlled squash which has been his trademark over the years.
So with 3 more games to go this season it looks as if a promotion place is beyond us but with the top teams still to play each other, its not over just yet!!
