| Report: | A solid Park Langley team hardly had to push against an even more weakened Bromley side riven by injury and illness at present. The match had its moments though. Chris looked as if he had struck form after an excellent second game but Ed stepped up his game enough for Chris to waver. Ian came out sharply before Michael had calibrated for the courts but when he had the combination of deep drives and accurate drops was too much for Ian, a racket ball man these days. Mark is improving each time he plays for the team and both Ray and Gary had their moments. Let's face it though, Bromley was thoroughly out-played. Hark, do I hear the cavalry or is it just those ectopic beats? |
