Report: | Obviously a tough assignment from the start for Bromley currently bottom of the division vs leaders Dartford who didn't disappoint. Steve and Ross came out hitting hard, accurate drives that took some adjusting to. But we didn't in time! Things got better at no. 3 but, despite a promising start by Ray, Bruce moved up a gear or two and stole the match with Ray not being allowed another point. The toughest match was the no. 1 rubber, Bash looking as if the match was his after the 3rd game but, point for point, Stuart came back and even tireless Bash loked exhausted by the end. Bromley 2 learnt a lesson in senior squash and was grateful for the 6 points. |
