| Report: | Well everyone was looking forward to this game especially Trevor from his defeat last time against Mandy, but she’s out injured which was a shame as that was going to be a cracker.
Well from looking at the forum most were going for a Cannons win and we proved them wrong.
First on Mike vs Peter
Mike had been looking forward to this game for a while and it finally came, Peter started off great by going 2-0 to Mike which was very unusual, but then Mike came back on firing and took the next two games to make it 2-2 and it was down to the 5th and mike was just too good for peter in the last, good game from both
Well played Mike
On the next court Kev vs Darren
Well this was a repeat of the first game, and Kev was certainly up for this after close defeat last time but Dareen started off well by going two games up against Kev but then Kev came firing back and took the next 2 games, Kev then made all the moves and took the game 3-2 and deserved the win, well played kev!
So park Langley were 2-0 up with two cracking games to start with
Next on Ed vs Karen
Well i didn’t no how this one was going to end up, but Ed started off well by taking the first but then Karen came back in the second and took it to make it 1-1 Ed coming back again in the third and that big discussion about whether the point was a stoke or let, but game continued and ed took the game 3-1 Karen played well, unlucky.
Game over Park Langley 3-0 up now looking for a big win to keep up with Dartford
On the next court Trev vs Jason
This turned out to be a good game and Trevor made sure his lucky shirt was ready and out the wash for this game, but it didn’t work in the first by Jason going 1 up, but then Trev came back and took the next 2 games to make him 2-1 up, but then Jason coming back and took the 4th making it the third 5th setter of the night, but Trev was just too good in the last and give it the big fists up at the end and that lucky shirt done the magic again! Well played Trev unlucky Jason
4-0 and last on Gerrald vs Zeb
Well Zeb started off well by going 2-0 up but we know its never all over with Gerrald and came back firing to make it 2-2 the 4th fifth setter and went on to take the last 3-2 well played Gerrald
Very entertaining games, so Park Langley did what they needed to do and it was better than a win because we now go above Dartford and are leaders by a point, all looking forward now to next weeks crunch game against Park Langley 4. Thanks for a good evening.
