| Report: | After Park Langleys defeat last week they were certainly ready this week being 12 points behind Dartford. But Dartford with two regular players on holiday were going to be in for a shock with the strongest team including Matt Boatwright.
First on Mike vs Dave
After Mikes defeat last week he was up for this game, Dave went off to a good start and took the first game but Mike came back in the game and 2nd and was now firing up to make it 1-1 and then Mike again taking the 3rd, the 4th wasn't so easy being 8-6 down but firing up to make it 8-8 and Dave calling 2 but Mike was just too strong and won 3-1.
Well played Mike, unlucky Dave and Park Langley were off to a great start.
On Court 2- Trev vs Steve
Well looking back at Steves record record he is unbeaten so Trev was in for a hard game after his defeat last week, he had his lucky shirt on so we was all hoping for the best. The first game went off to a good start for Trev who was 8-4 up but Steve came fighting back to make it 8-8 and eventually took the first game and now into the second and Trev came fighting back to make it 1-1 and also then took the third, but again in the 4th Trev being 7-1 up Steve fighting back to make it 8-8 and then won it 10-8, so all down to the 5th and Trev was just too good in the last and won the game 3-2. Well played Trev, that lucky shirt did it again... Unlucky Steve
So Park Langley were 2-0 up
Next on Matt vs Jamie
Matt who was playing for Park Langley 3 this week went off to a good start by taking the first game but then in the 2nd Jamie came fighting back to make it 1-1 and then as the game went on Matt got stronger and finally won 3-1. Well done Matt, unlucky Jamie.
So game over could Park Langley go on for a 5-0 win?
On Court 2- Gerrald vs Jamie
Well Gerrald was ready for this game after a massive win last week and went off to a great start going 1-0 up and continued grinding in and won the game quite easily 3-0 and Gerrald does it again Well done, unlucky Jamie.
s0 4-0 could this be Park Langleys chance to go above Dartford and Dartfords biggest lose.
So down to Kev vs Ross
Well after last times action we decided that Malcolm woulnt mark the game but instead let Jamie. And Kevs lose last week made him eager to win this week. Well Ross went off to a good start going 5-0 up but then Kev came grinding back to win that set 8-5, and then contined playing well and won the game quite easily 3-0. Well played Kev, your not going to be dropped now next week, unlucky Ross
So Park Langley did what they needed to do, a great result puts us top and 4 points in front of Dartford, which we didn't think was going to happen after the defeat last week, but its not all over yet.....
