| Report: | An enjoyable encounter by two teams low down in the order. Terry started the evening with a convincing win over John who tried manfully to cope with the unexpected ie Tubby shots. Tom got off to a cracking start but was steadily overhauled by Sean who hit real form, weighed up Tom's game and out-psyched him. Kevin, looking as if he'd just fallen out of bed, grumped his way through an awful first game but gradually woke up and played some rallies that tested Mick later in the match. Ash and Andy produced the evening's cliff-hanger, both having tired themselves out by the 5th, but Andy kept his game together to sprint for the line. In the decider, Ray seemed to be coasting to a 3-0 victory but Colin had other ideas and stole a game with some strategy and effort. A rare Bromley victory! |
