Report: | It doesn't get any easier!
Sydenham are a side with a bit between their teeth.Although the 20-0 scoreline is harsh on Bromley, Syd have improved since the first leg.
So now, on with the excuses!
At 5, a second runout for Faisal. His lack of match practice let him down as the man in red and blue bamboozled him with his particular aerial style.By the time he had acclimatised, by the third, it was too late.
At 4,Tommy was running round the court like he was drinking more than fruit juice! But Kevin's methodical precision allowed him to keep the upper hand.
At 3, an encouraging sign for the future as Sat played some of the best squash I have seen from him in the first game. But at the end of the second a muscle strain forced his retirement.
At 2, another new tryout.Laurence was, by his own admission, just out of his league.
At 1, Lee,another priory virgin, made a promising start but was not able to keep up the standard for the whole game.
On the other hand at least the sports centre management have started to open the bar and put on a buffet, at last. |
