| Report: | Bexley 3 v Amida 2 in division 3.
When I saw neville miller at 3 and mike stead at 4 I knew we were in trouble.
First up at 1 was Ed gilfillin v new boy Tom stone. Yet another ex Kent junior. 3-0 to tom 1 5 & 5 says it all. Next up was Jack Breen back where he belongs in my team at no 2. A very good 3-0 win over Peter Whitehouse 2 7 & 2 . At the same time my son Dean was getting hammered 1 2 & 5 0-3 by a useful canny Mike stead at 4. Andrew Brown at 5 for Amida was too strong for Bexleys Adam willis winning 3-0 7 4 & 0. This left Neville miller at 3 v Andrew Darrington who had not played a match since the last game of last winter this march. Easy 3-0 to Nev 1 2 & 2. Clinching the match 3-2 surprisingly every string was won 3-0.
A nice crowd and a lovely evening, our boys enjoyed their food more than they did.
