Report

Report:Firstly BCC would like to welcome Graham Ray to the second team and the club albeit as a result of the demise of David Lloyd. A very welcome addition to the squad.

Now BCC II have moved down to third due to a game in hand it was important to maintain our strong position for when the other teams in contention loose the benefit of those point at Tunbridgewells SRC.

Dutch Prodigy V Tom
Coach was not playing due to company p**s up, more food for every one else though!
Michel stepped in to take over but carrying a football injury meat he was never going to put Tom under enough pressure due to a lack of movement around court, and a slightly larger waste line it was pointed out! Good to see Tom back playing again and a good win for him 6,4 & 6.

FG V Jack
Didn't see any of this game, only FG breathing through every orifice possible between games, hmmmm....not match fit but with MANY years of experience handled Jack without too much problem.
Not easy playing your first match for a new club and team so did well to win 3-0.

1-1 in matches now, all down to the bottom three.

Tricky V Andy
Tricky playing lower down the order took this with a breeze managing to place the ball in every corner and Andy had no answers but to chase it around but in vain. Tricky took the match 1, 2 & 2.

Big Andy V Dean
Big Andy wasn't going to play because of tennis elbow but Bruiser developed a tooth abscess so Big Andy had to play. My warm up was fairly awful but soon settled in with my training and fitness regime paying off, lol, took the first comfortably but went walk-a-bout in the second which was a bit of a wake up call. Dean was Dean really as we all know, lost the plot a little and gave the match to me luv & 1 in the next two.

Smiler V Adam
What can I say my own player played like a tit in a trance, how he won the first two I don't know. Harsh but true! Adam took a while to get going, probably the daft shots he was having to chase after, but once he did, was reading Smiler’s game and took the next two to level the score. At last Smiler woke up and played his normal game and won the match 3-2.

Man of the match - Tricky

Food was great and a good evening. By the way Leon, my prediction was right, the combination of Sheppard’s pie and beans at 11 at night, I didn't have many friends today!!!
