| Report: | Last match of the season between the top two teams, already promoted, playing the title decider. Both teams appeared to be up for it and put out their "strongest" teams, which meant neither team captains were playing. The burden of responsibility was clearly too much to have to play as well.
Despite a disappointing match result for Bromley it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, with the games played in the right spirit and it was fair to say that the best team won. Cannon's strength in depth was the difference with their lower order players picking up the points as they have done all season.
Performance of the evening however went to Bromley's No.1 Tony, who finished the season in some style. His total demolition of his opponent was awesome to watch and one could only feel sorry for Mike who was very much in the wrong place at the wrong time. Let's hope Tony carries that form into next season - we will need it!!
