| Report: | Nice to finish the season on a high, not just because of the result, most of the Dartford boy's know how to enjoy themselves.
Paul was on first for the home team and it was not long before he was off again being demolished by Bruce out for revenge for the away leg loss. Daniel played out a long 4 setter on the other court which looked like an evenly matched game won by the superior drop shots of Daniel.
Next up it was John against the (Nice to see back) Terry, Terry was not at the races today, so John kept the pressure on until he had won, then they had another knock just to show how fit they are.
Dave had his usual grudge match against Nick, this has the potential to be a good game every time but was ruined by to much talking not enough playing. Still it was'nt all bad Dave won and it was past Nick's bedtime.
With the match won it was down to Matt and Stuart to play out a great 4 setter, Stuart got everything back, however hard Matt hit the ball, winning 3-1 in the process. Matt in the last game of the season even looked like he was getting some fitness back.
So up to the bar where everyone had a good laugh about the seasons past and present and what had happened where and with who. |
