| Report: | Another grudge match for Bexley with Young Hany playing against his old club and an opponent he had never beaten before. Hany was taking no prisoners against Keith with a very convincing win
3-0 over a clever old player who he had never beaten before. Very well done Hany.
Hany's brother Ash taleb playing for cascades used every trick in the book to unsettle young elliott and it worked, and why not. Some called it cheating, some called it gamesmanship, i called it very clever squash. It worked, beating our young superstar 3-2 in a very close niggly battle. At 4 Paul Sellery was too young and talented for poor old John winning 3-0 fairly easy
Steve our no 2 was too strong for young Craig who was very listless in the 1st game but came alive late in the 2nd game. Craig won a tight 3rd 9-7 but could not hold it losing 9-6 in the 4th to a player who played perfect squash, in my humble oppinion. To finish the night young Dean hammered Pat in the 1st 9-2 from 8-0 up then had to work very hard against an old campaigner who wasted little. In the end Dean was just too young and quick for Pat winning 9-7 9-7 for 3-0 4-1 to bexley. Good grub followed with good banter with most players staying to the end. That being 11pm with This Bexley team. |
