Report:A good hiding tonight from Fitness first 1-4
With terry higgs at 4 we new we were in for a tough old night. terry beat Paul sellery at four
3-1 ending paul's unbeaten record this winter.
Over on the other court Dean v big Andy was a right old battle. Dean had game ball in the 1st but still lost 8/10 then 9/7 to dean & Dean went 7-0 up in the 3rd to lose 8-10 shocking. Dean won 9/6 in the 4th but lost 3/9 in the 5th. Andy at 6-3 up in the 5th ended with 2 mis hits and a ball out of court which the marker called good. This game had shocking marking all through, which was a crying shame because they were very well matched with no animosity at all between them. Steve Wyatt at 2 kept his unbeaten run at 2 winning 3-1 with a couple of iffy marking decisions that sent carlos wild. This lot to some nasty accusations that thankfully led to nothing later & carlos had a good drink on us & was as nice as pie in the bar.
Hany at 1 had another bad day at the office against a player who is a far better player than marker. He bode his time and took Hany 3-1 for a well deserved victory.
Elliot our superstar youngster was up against their 2nd team no 1 who was very fit very relaxed and in total control. Elliott did very well to nick a game out of his 1-3 hiding.
Good banter and beer and grub ensured everyone went home happy with all the bad marking forgotten.
P.S.
I marked the last game but like true sportsmen they made it easy for me. I will all players did the same.
