Report: | A very good win for bexley with one or two suprises. I did not think our no 1 would beat dave partridge especially after losing to ashly tomlin the night before at cascades, so a good 3-1 start. Hany at 2 was all over the place against matt partridge who was playing very good squash. Matt had match ball in the 4th but Hany dug in winning that one 9/8 the 9/6 to wrap up a 3-2 win. Andy darrington in only his 2nd match of the season beat Peter fraser 3-1 with a great start 9-1 9-1 but poor ending. Even peter seemed shocked when he won the 3rd 9-7 However drew finished him off 9-7 to give us the match. Next up Paul v John in a good battle with youth coming through in the end 3-1 the highlight was paul down 1-6 in the 2nd then winning it 9-6.
Last up was college boy Elliott who sadly got a whupping from paul barnard who never put a foot wrong 3-0. College boy did enjoy his pie & chips after & so did most of the youths. I hope the adults did as well. |
