| Report: | A very good night for bexley 3 over our 4th team.
1st up dean v peter lewis as dean had to shoot off to play 5 a side footy. A good start for peter 9-2 then a good answer from dean 9-6. peter then went 5-0 up in the 3rd but dean was not having any of it & came back to win 9-7. Dean went 8-0 up in the 4th then clinched it 9-4 for a very good 3-1 victory. Next door Paul sellery raced to a 2-0 lead over Nanu 9-4 9-0 & went very tight in the 3rd losing 7-9 Nanu the 5 set specialist then dug in to win the next 2 9-6 9-5. Steve wyatt made short work of dave thompson at 1 because dave had lost interest due to having to mark Peter v Dean with some argey bargy and spectator comments on a difficult game to mark. 3-0 steve. Hany v saun was a good game with saun racing to 8-4 up in the 1st 2 games only for hany to dig in & turn them round 10-8 10-9. Hany took no prisoners in the 3rd winning 9-2. Our superstar Elliott had a cracking game with Tony fresh back from injury & keen to assert himself back in the team. 10-8 to elliott then 10-8 to tony 1-1. 9-2 elliott & looking stronger than tony but tony dug in to win 9-7 in a very close 4th. 2-2 sadly that was too much for Tony as elliott caned him in the 5th 9-0. A very good team performance that rightly shows we are the 3rd Bexley team. Look out bexley 2. |
