| Report: | . An eventful night. The two Davids were on first; Dave P winning 3-0 Mandy levelled the score beating Dan 3-0, with Paul wining 3-1 so far so good. The came the gladiators John and Paul, who had obviously bet their mortgages on the result. Unfortunately no one told them that hitting the ball consistently down the middle would lead to players being hit by the ball and tempers flaring. John battling thought with a technical knockout 3-2
Last on Matt & Peter, I did wonder why no one wanted to mark their game Mandy marked for a while until Matt questioned a decision then she refused to mark complaining that the home side had to provide the markers (does no one read the Priory Rules!!) After a bad tempered match with both players throwing toys out of their respective prams Matt came though 3-2 with Peter still complaining about the marking. The good news for Peter is that I won't be giving up my day job to become a full time marker (or my tuesday evenings)
