| Report: | What should have been awell organised game was thrown into doubt with our no 3 going down with suspected swine flu 30 mins before match time. Cue a flurry of calls and we managed to get an extra player, Dave, with seconds to spare.The three "pro" s at the top of the order performed as expected whilst "tricky" Dave Hughes dispached our Dave with a lesson in deception and superb drops whilst claiming he was an old man and just lucky.
Me, obviously all the distractions put me off my game. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
Had a good gossip after the game and an interesting debate on marking and court psychology |
