| Report: | Although I didn't see this match Keith took an early lead but Ash came back well in the last 3 games. I then went on with John and although I took an early lead John took the first game, I then took the next two before John played his best to take the 4th but I managed to conjure a win in the 5th. Nick was always to quick and seemed to have the beating of Pat from the start. Craig and Andy had a fast paced match but Craig's recovery was the difference in the first two games and took him to match point in the third 8-5 and two further match points at 9-9 but Andy won the 3rd and 4th and was looking good for a win in the 5th until Craig swept past him but Andy saved a further 4 match points but Craig eventually won in 5. Ian and Keith had a very close match for 3 games before Keith took control in the 4th winning 9-0 but Ian took control in the 5th going 8-3 match ball up before Keith used all his experience, resolve and skill to win 10-8 not facing another match ball. |
