| Report: | Bromley put out its full strength team for the first time this season and we believe in all the years Ian has played for us it is the first time Ian has ever played at 3 for Bromley. BHP however put up a sterling fight with some good banter.
Normally when teams are short they dust off some old codger to make the numbers up at five but not BLT they just bring in a couple of players at one and two!!!. Bad news for the BHP team who were missing their normal no 2. (If you can call him normal)
The evening started well, Matt agreed to drive us all there as we knew that we would all be in the bar by 8.15. Things got even better with Steve nearly taking two games from Keith but despite getting to 8 in two games he just lacked the final punch to finish Keith off.
Next on Dave P who put in another sharp performance to beat Andy in four.
Atthree Flat Eric nearly provided the shock of the evening by taking the first game against Ian. He obviously peaked too early and went on to lose 3-1 which was good news for the rest of us as we had to travel back with him in the same car
Unfortunately I missed Dan's match but he did well to get a game off of Shaun. I was last on against Tom (when was the last time he played 5?) I should have quit at 1-0 up in the first as things went rapidly downhill from there!! Enough said.
Anyway a good night out was had by all.
