| Report: | Bromley got off to a nice start with Paul getting the better of Sean and Tommy breaking Neil's resistance to go into a 2 match lead. Kevin and Ville fought back for Blackheath with Ray succumbing to Kevin in 4 and Ville's steady stylish squash putting Ron under increasing pressure. Ron, however, stepped it up injecting some pace and came back strongly to take it convincingly in the 5th and secure the match. With the points in the bag for Bromley, Mark looked like continuing his good form against Keith in the final match, but Keith prevailed and we set off to the bar for a drink and what was loosely described as chilli and rice.....at least the squash was enjoyable. We look fwd to the 2010 return match, Blackheath. |
