| Report: | As happened a couple of weeks ago, Bromley looked vulnerable at the start of the evening, Tommy going one game down and Kevin with a shaky 1-2. However, despite some resourceful play by Dave and Darren, Bromley eventually won the first two rubbers. Then Gavin overcame Ray with more consistent play and some fine length and drops, while Mark out-gunned John throughout. In the finale, Alan won strings of beautifully placed lob serves whilst Paul was the stronger during rallies, and eventually rallies won the day. An enjoyable evening, with more than ample fish pasta to replace the calories. |
