| Report: | With the Fredericks team depleted due a valentines evening commitments (which is surprising as looking at them they would appear to be more suited to Halloween) it wasn't a question of whether we were going to win or not but by how much we were going to lose. It therefore came as a great surprise when Dave Wallis managed to fluke a rare win at 4, a match played in good spirit unlike the one between Peter Fraser and Lee Atkins at 3. At one game all a dispute arose between the players, which led to the next two games being conceded. (I don't think that there will be an exchange of roses between these two next Valentines Day.) P Slater at 2 never looked to be troubled by his opponent and cruised to a 3 -0 victory. The shoe was on the other foot at 1 with Matt Partridge winning 3-0. A close fought game at 5 saw Neil Badger come from 2-1 down to snatch victory for Bexley from Duncan Heard. It was a valiant effort by the Fredericks last minute stand in but five weeks in the Cayman Islands had obviously taken its toll on him!
