| Report: | After last week's disappointing result at Bexley, Beckenham had a much improved result this week v Bromley CC, beating them 5-0. Fortunately for Ian, I lost a game too, to avoid him having the worst performance in the team again this week.
Unfortunately, due to it being half term and Valentine's Day, Bromley could only get out a team of 4, so Geoff very kindly volunteered to head to the bar early. He did, however, very charitably do my marking for me whilst I was hiding in the changing rooms! Thanks Geoff.
Having only 4 a side meant an early finish and left plenty of time to watch the end of the football and enjoy the ham, egg and chips with a nice pint or 2 (or vodka and slimline tonic or 2) in the bar afterwards - very civilised.
