Report: | With us not having to pay the bar bill, the scores suggest that we had ulterior motives. First matches on were Darren against Stuart which unfortunately i didn't get to see any of and me and Bob. What can i say, i was immense with power, agility, flair and guile... ok not really - it was to do with the fact that i can run for long periods of time!! I saw my dad mid interval who told me he was 2-0 up but after some illegal substance taking (red bull!) from Marc he was suddenly buzzing round court and pinched the next two 9-7. I thought i better offer my advice to my dad at 2-2 telling him to mix it up a bit varying the pace and concentrating on dropping. However, we can all see what good my advice did so i'll be staying away next time!
With acacia being very strong down the order it was a foregone conclusion in the final 2 matches. Andy Maclean - Surely a No. 1 !!!
A good spirited match though and next up is Bexley who we beat last time 4-1 but at their place i'm sure revenge will be on their minds! |
