| Report: | First off were Jus v Nick and Gary v Malc.
Justyn's majestical style had the upper hand over Nick's slower technical game, a very close 3rd game sealed it for OE.
Gary also set of at a pace , a familiar pattern of serve hard and dab the reply to either corner,and what appeared to be lucky shots to Malc were in fact carefully crafted winners.
Next was Tim and Keith, nice quality ralleys combined with comedic, mis hit shots, Keith a true sportsman even corrected his own marker over the score in the 3rd game and another one to OE.
Mehmet and Paul,... Mehmet's exhibition style quality versus Paul's very hard hitting and excellent reach. Mehmet was able to dominate the 'T' as Paul moved from front to back, Mehmet was able to win fairly effortlessly with no hint of tiredness at all.
Final game, the number ones Bob v Trevor with every body watching, this was the closest match of the night, some long enduring ralleys of high quality, the closeness of the game and variance of play resulted in many legitimate calls for strokes/lets etc, thankfully the game was well marked by Gary whose expertise was not affected by the numerous text messages he was sending and receiving during the match. Trevor's quality shone thru in the end.
