| Report: | A hot and sticky night at Blackheath. First off Dan vs Tim, and Kevin vs Justyn. Justyn beat Kevin fairly comfortable so one up for OE. Dan (the smiler) eventually beat Tim in a gruelling match. Tim in his ever growing frustration just couldn't seem to finish games. One each to OE and Blackheath. Next on was Keith and Mehmet. Mehmet got off to a great start but Keith with some great touches and shrewd game play came back strong against an ever tiring Mehmet. By the time Mehmet finally clinched the match Keith was looking the younger of the two. Two one to OE. Next the heavy weight division, Alex vs Steve. By now you would have thought that Alex would know not to wind Steve up cos it ain't gonna work. Another match to OE. Last game of the night Sean vs Bob. Sean to everyone's surprise took the first two games fairly comfortable but eventually Bob woke up and won the next three. A most enjoyable night of squash, great company and some fine food cooked by Neil. |
