| Report: | This was always going to be a tough match as we were missing a No2 and No3 but there was a glimmer of hope when Sydenham turned up missing their No1 - Paul. But it wasn't to be Sydenham were the winners 3-2 on the night.
Bob and Steve both won comfortably for Old Elt's against Dan and John and likewise John and Jim won comfortably for Sydenham agains Gary and Mark. The closest match of the night was Tim against Richard, Tim got off to a flyer winning the 1st two games then Richard hit back using his vast experience to win the next 3 games.
Good banter in the bar afterwards and we look forward to our revenge against a much improved Sydenham in the 2nd half of the season. |
