| Report: | A good evening that all went down to the fifth game of the last match. Dave and Mick were first on and Dave looked finished at 2-0 down but then worked his way back to leevl at 2-2 and then to win the fifth. Meanwhile Darren's runnign was too much for Tim who put up a game resistance but lost 3-1. Alan wasn't on form and Steve's running was too much. I missed Guy's game becasue I was on court but he didn't get as close to Justin as he would have hoped. So the match was level at 2-2 with Paul and Mehmet to plat at number 2. Paul won the first, and Mehmet the next two, but then Paul started to take control as Mehmet looked increasingly tired, and Paul levelled at 2-2 and then took the decider to win the match for Nuffield. A good evening played in a good spirit. |
