| Report: | A good evening to end the first half of the season, could have gone either way right to the end. Blackheath won the firs two matches at 1 and 3 and looked to be coasting. At 1, Alan and Ville had a good first game before Alan's game disintegrated. John's game (at 3) went the same way in the third game after Alan had given him advice - a common thread?
At 5, Dave and Dan had a close first game before Dave took control, for Nuffield. Darren and Sean played some weird game of bumper cars and annoying Dave Pryce who was marking stoically. Darren eventually won to leave Steve and Dave to fight it out. Dave won a game that looked at times like going either way. So Blackheath won (even without their che sting low roof!). |
