| Report: | With captain fantastic away this week the team selection was left to me to arrange and therefore the sly fox hat was truely dusted off and worn with pride ha ha (love you bushull) .
First on mark v gurkan didnt see very much of this as was marking on court 4 but was informed that mark was struggling with gurkans shots and was lucky to take it to five a long game and well played gurkan.
On court 4 gerald v richard the first game could have gone either way richard playing some mighty tight shots 10/9 gerald . the second game saw gerald tighten up his game and patience saw him take the second ,at this stage richard realised that gerald was giving nothing away and gave away some cheap points 3-0 gerald .
zeb v jack a good start for jack in the first but paid the price in the second and third a fairly straight forward win for zeb and not a bad stand in for the captain thanks zeb.
Andy v dean well 9-0 first game and 7-0 into the second game dean started playing but had given me two game lead which these days i very much need. The third was a much closer game but i was able to close the game out before my arm gave way like last week.Just one of those nights dean .
Last up super trev v keeran trevor too strong for kieran and took the game at a canter, great to see a very nice player coming through the ranks in kieran and a credit to his team im sure we will be seeing a lot more of him in the future.
So a 4-1 win for langley washed down with a chilly and rice ,good luck bex 4 with the rest of the season . |
