Report: | Excellent nights gaming at Parklangley. Kevin and James had a good battle at two with James having a little more in the tank to take the 5th. Some good points and cleaver shot making from the Bexley player.
On the other court another match went to 5, Andy just getting past Nanu in a repeat of the match up from the first half. Didn't see any of it but scores indicate it was very close.
With the first team game-less, Spratty was drafted in to combat the expected Bexley professional. Unlucky for Ron he found Steve in good form and even following instructions from the hatchet men in the audience and catching Steve nicely on the nose was unable to take the game past 4. (to be fair to Ron the nose is bigger than Jupiter)
Gerald and Bradley was a very involving game, swinging one way and then the other with some excellent shots, pick ups and attacking squash from both players. Excellent performance from Gerald but Brad just had a little too much in the final stages and took the match to 2-2.
Final game was the decider. Trev kept up his good form and went into an strong lead against Simon, who battled back well in the 3rd but left it too late and Trev to the game in 3.
Very enjoyable evening with the Bexley lads and their more the welcome retinue. See you all next time. Biggin Hill next week and they had their spies out in force, sure you don't want to give us a walk over fellas? :)
