| Report: | Probably just too late to get Knole into the promotion race, but a welcome win nonetheless. Peter in probably his last appearance before getting behind the wheel of an aeroplane; and Gary still fighting to establish himself as a top-order regular, were the most impresssive. Mark beat Chris in a marathon battle of the knee braces. And Chris showed Dave why he should be better than he usually is.
The only sour note was Blackheath's a decision to bring a ringer in at 5 without prior notification to the opposing captain. John was 1-0 and 6-1 up before he realised that he was destined to be outclassed. |
