| Report: | Top two teams meeting and some of the best squash seen this season.
BLT turned up with 4 x players, should have made it fairly easy for us, squash meetings though are never that straight-forward.
First on Andy v Terry - i understand they collected Terry from the old folks home on the way and then wheeled him on court - one hour later he wins 3-2 - got to say, Well done mate!
Didn't see much of Johns game but spectators say he was like a man possessed, last time they played 3-2 to John this time 3-0 so i think a fair comment.
I marked Peter v Keith - both players virtually unbeaten this season - both players gave all with Peter coming good eventually. What a game!.
Mo v Rob - Mo under pressure immediately as he had to borrow my boots, the main problem being is that my boots had never gone that fast before and so he was arriving to hit the ball and having to wait for my boots to arrive! Anyway Mo won the first but after that Rob gradually ground it down to win 3-1.
My game at five was poetic - a masterclass - a bloody walk-over - nuff said. |
