| Report: | Bottom of the table clash without captain iron was always going to be a close affair and so it was- Darren had a very close match with Stevan at 1 swinging both ways until the last game and Stevan dropped first closely followed by Darren after the final ball.
Gina battled with Colin over 5 games , with help from the Langley crowd she came through a winner, Mr ben Ford I think maybe working her a little too hard. At this point Langley 4 were 2-0 up and looking good for the win.
Next up no5 mike v mike Mr Collins always make a good effort but this young man had all the shots and the pace and ran out an easy winner.
No3. Andy v Ashley , Ashley started this one like a train taking the first two games very quickly , Andy almost ready for the showers tried something different and it worked taking the next two games and going all the way to match ball , only for ashley to nick it 10/9 great match . Match 2-2.
Gerald v Jon. Gerald had this one in his mind before the start and new what was needed to beat the tricky Jon working him hard in each game 3-0 Gerald and the match . |
